We arrived at Lake Louise around 5:30 local time and after settling\u00a0in to our room, we got into Bettie and headed to the gas station where we ran into several car guys who were visiting the area prior to a large car show that is to be held on the weekend.\u00a0 The all knew that Bettie was a Dodge and had her pegged at either a 55-56 which I thought was pretty good!<\/p>\n
We then drove up to the Fairmount Chateau at Lake Louise to reconnoiter the area.\u00a0I will get some photos\u00a0today, it is a pretty impressive place, but at $1700 US for three nights it was a bit too spendy for us.<\/p>\n
On the way back we took the road to Moraine Lake which is another must see.\u00a0 I walked around some and took a few snaps, beautiful place!<\/p>\n
\u00a0We ate at a nice restaurant near our hotel and as we were walking out, we met two couples from England who were on a vacation tour of the area.\u00a0 Both of the men, mid 70’s\u00a0were really interested in Bettie and both asked a ton of questions about the car and its restoration.\u00a0 They both were named Peter, and one came from the Isle of Jersey and the other was from Sussex.\u00a0 Both Michelle and I had a great time chatting with them.<\/p>\n
