After 5 years we are finally on the trails around Lake Louise.\u00a0 What a magnificent place to visit.\u00a0 We started the day by hiking the Fairview trail which was only about 1.5 km long but most of it was up a 20 to 30\u00b0 and since the elevation is over 5000 ft, it was a good challenge for Michelle and I.\u00a0 Glad to say we did fine and made it all the way to the lake overlook which graced us with some\u00a0wonderful\u00a0views of the Fairmount at the end of the lake.<\/p>\n

After taking a few photos, we headed back down the hill to\u00a0have a bite of lunch at the Fairview.\u00a0 Pretty spendy, but worth it just to say we\u00a0did eat there!<\/p>\n
After lunch we walked\u00a0\u00a0along the shore talking with a whole bunch of\u00a0other tourists wandering along the same path.\u00a0 It was a great relaxing afternoon.\u00a0 The weather was spectacular with clear skies and temps running in the mid to high 70s. I guess we hit it just right since it was snowing here last week!<\/p>\n
Tomorrow we visit Moraine Lake again and will take a trip into Banff for a walk about.<\/p>\n
