Coating the Wagon with Epoxy Primer

On one of my trips to the valley, I stopped by the Matrix paint store to buy some epoxy and high build 2K primer. The store had a gallon kit of epoxy on sale for around $90 which was a great buy, the only problem was that instead of being light grey it was a darker gray/green which really didnt matter that much since it would all be recoated anyway. The gallon was enough to cover all of the pieces that had been removed from the car and blasted with 2 heavy coats. It took another 2 !/2 gallons of grey to put down 2 coats on the body and doors, inside and out. Another gallon covered the firewall frame and bottom of the floor in a nice flat black epoxy. Unfortunately the not on sale price of epoxy went up to around $140 for a gallon kit.

Anyway, all the exposed and repaired metal is now coated with epoxy so that it will not rust again!
