Filling Holes in the Floor

After installing the Durango seats in the wagon, I was left with a bunch of 3/8″ holes in the floor where the stock Dodge seats and seat belts were mounted that needed to be filled. On one of my trips to Ace Hardware, I noticed these nails that had good sized washers attached to them. (I think they are used for roofing) Anyway I bought some with the idea of using them to fill all the holes in the floor.
I climbed into the wagon with the MIG gun then had Michelle raise the wagon up on the lift. she would then feed the nail through the hole and hold it in place with the pliers. I would then weld washer to the floor, filling the hole in the process. Once all the holes were filled, I went back with a cut off wheel and trimed off the remaining piece of nail. All in all it worked pretty quickly and I didn’t need to punch out a bunch of plugs to fill the holes!
