It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

After spending several hours with the two of us working on masking the jambs for the two tone paint job, I am thinking it might have been easier to pull the doors off and do them seperately. Too many nooks and crannies to try to get tape, paper and paint into. Ah well, what is done is done, I will rethink this again on the next project.

Well to be honest and up front, I made two misjudments here. One, I decided to use my new Iwata to spray the jambs with instead of my small detail gun, as a result the pattern was too large for the size of the jambs and I ended up wasting some paint… Two, both Jerry and I were excited to see how the orange would look so instead of shooting the light color first (the beige) we went with the orange which might cause some issues when I remask the jambs to paint the beige color. Oh Well …

That said…

Damn that color is a lot of orange! I am hoping that when I get the beige painted that it will tone it down some. At least I can say that there wont be another one like it in the Safeway parking lot!

We be jambin’ – ORANGE!

and Jerry was at hand again with his video camera …
