Sealing the Interior and Jambs

I decided to use the PPG V-Seal 3025 as the base top coat prior to applying color. This is a wet on wet sealer that provides a uniform color base and good adheasion for the PPG Concept Single Stage Paint. Jerry took over the paint mixing duties while I focused upon laying down the sealer with my new Iwata LPH400-LV spray gun. I had used it to lay down the black semi gloss on the firewall and inner fender panels and thought that it was pretty darn good. I have to say I was even more impressed when I started painting the interior. Working with large surfaces the transfer rate of this gun is about twice what my Purple HF guns are. Bottom line it didnt take near the amount of paint that I thought it would to provide one good wet coat for the base.

When Jerry wasnt mixing paint, he took some more video of me painting.
