Since I had to rebuild the blog site I used the opportunity to modernize the way I upload and display photographs. I am now using a WordPress plugin called NextGen Gallery. It is a real breeze to use! I can easily upload photos using numerous methods and then display them as either a slideshow or a thumbnail gallery.
I have the plugin set to display the photos as a slide show. You can easily change to the thumb nail gallery by selecting the [show picture list] link at the top left corner of the slide show. Once in the slide show you should see at the bottom of the show a navigation bar. If you press the far right icon it will change the display to the full screen mode. Pressing it again will return you to the smaller display.
If you are in the show picture list mode, you can click on any of the thumbnails and bring up a full size image of the thumbnail. Clicking on either the left or right edges of the photo will either move you back one image or forward one image. You can return to the picture list by clicking the Close Box at the bottom right corner of the photo.
Let me know if you are having any issues!
